How do I enter a tournament?
Review the 2016 Tournament Schedule to determine which tournament you wish to enter and who is running then fill out and submit an online Tournament Application. Please note: by submitting the application you are committing to play and agreeing to pay the tournament entry fee. The amount charged per tournament varies depending on the particular weekend your team wishes to play and your team’s age division. Please visit the Tournament Schedule page to see the prices for each tournament.
Once you have submitted your application, you may either pay for the tournament online or by mailing in a check. Please note that USSSA National charges an additional fee of $20-$25 to pay online.  USSSA Southern California does not benefit in any way from this additional fee. To submit payment via check, mail a copy of the tournament application to either John Gleason or Anthony Ciandella. Please refer to the Tournament Schedule to see whether John or Anthony is running the particular tournament you wish to enter and send the entry fee to:

Note: There is a $25 fee on all bounced checks and an additional $25 fee on all late payments. If paying at the tournament, the entry fee + the late fee must be paid in full via cash or cashiers check. No exceptions.  
What will happen once I have sent in my entry?
Once you have filled out a tournament application and paid your entry fee, you will receive a confirmation email. Your team will be added to the list of participants for that weekend’s tournament within 24 hours of your submitting your entry form online. Every tournament will have a “Who’s Coming” list of teams currently signed up to play posted on the individual tournament page. This list is updated regularly and will go live approximately ten days prior to the tournament weekend. Please make sure your team name is on the list 24 hours after submitting a tournament application.
When will game times be posted?
Game times are posted after 9:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the tournament weekend. The “Who’s Coming” link underneath the tournament logo will be replaced by a “Tournament Brackets” link.
What do I need at check in before the tournament?
You will check-in with the on-site tournament director one hour before your first game at the park you are playing at. You are required to have the following to check-in:
  • A copy of your online roster signed by all of your parents
  • Proof of insurance
  • Copies of your player’s birth certificates. Passports are acceptable only if a copy of the birth certificate is not available.
  • Please have all the above documents in a binder with the player’s birth certificates in the same order as their names appear on the roster to expedite the check-in process.
